Bihar woman glues child’s lips together: Reports

Chandigarh, March 24

A woman from Bihar’s district glued her son’s lips together to stop him from crying, news reports said on Sunday.

The child’s father said he came back from work to find the child unusually quiet. Then he noticed he was frothing in the mouth.

“When I asked my wife, she said he’d being crying all day long so she glued his lips,” news reports quoted the father as saying.

The child was taken to a hospital and is no longer in danger, the reports said.
