Five PSU banks get Rs 21,428-cr infusion

New Delhi, March 28

Five state-owned banks, including PNB, Bank of Baroda and Union Bank, today received shareholders' approval for capital infusion to the tune of Rs 21,428 crore in lieu of preferential allotment of shares to the government.

"The capital infusion will be by way of preferential allotment of equity shares of the bank during 2018-19, as government's investment," Bank of Baroda said. — PTI
