Alia Bhatt, who is currently busy promoting Kalank, is a multi-tasker! Along with the hectic promotional schedule, the actress is taking Telugu classes from a private tutor every day.
Alia is confident that she’ll be able to learn the language so that she’d be able to dub her own dialogues in SS Rajamouli’s RRR, a movie she was recently announced to have been roped in for. Talking about the same, Alia says, “It is a challenge, yes, I can’t deny that. Telugu is a tough language to learn. But it’s a very expressive language. I want to understand the nuances of the language, why certain words are pronounced the way they are, and what they convey. Only then will I be able to express my character’s feelings.”
The actress further adds, “Believe me, these days an achievement for me is when I can learn and say a whole line in Telugu.”
Talking about making debut in South, Alia says, “Saying yes to the offer was a no-brainer. When I started my career as a leading lady there were three filmmakers I really wanted to work with. I got launched by one of them, Karan Johar, and now I’m working with the other two - Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Rajamouli.” Alia will soon fly to Delhi to start shooting for the epic period drama, RRR which also stars Ajay Devgn, Ram Charan and NT Rama Rao Jr.
