Speaking about being honoured with Woman of Substance award recently, Raveena says, “The title comes with a lot of responsibility attached to it, I am glad I could be of that strata where my opinions and body of work can be used as a positive influence and creates a change in the mindset of people for society’s good. Woman of substance for me has nothing to do with degrading men in any way. It’s being equal in every sense, be it asking for equal job opportunities, pay structure etc. For me this stands for bringing in the change where a woman has a choice to pick up any profession or job she wants to. It shouldn’t be oh she is a women so can’t be a truck driver or a pilot.”
