The immense love and support, soothed me in my process of healing, says Irrfan Khan. The actor has been undergoing treatment for neuro-endocrine tumour in London for the past one year.
The 52-year-old actor returned to India in March.
Irrfan shared a heartfelt letter on Wednesday. Pouring his heart out he said he is grateful for all the love.
He wrote: “Maybe somewhere in the pursuit of winning, we forget how much it means to be loved. In our vulnerability, we are reminded. As I leave my footprints onto these steps of my life, I want to pause to be grateful for receiving your immense love and support, it soothed me in my process of healing. So I travel back to you, thanking you from the bottom of my heart”.

Irrfan had shared the news of his illness via social media in 2018.
He was recently spotted at the Mumbai airport. The talented actor is in town to shoot for his next film ‘Hindi Medium 2’ opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan.
The actor was trying to keep a low profile with the help of a black scarf. But, after a while he removed his mask and the paparazzi spotted him.
Dressed in casuals and a hat, Irrfan appeared healthier than before. He walked with confidence and even, posed for pictures.
Irrfan was last seen in 'Blackmail' and 'Karwaan'.
