Kolkata: 8 railway staff injured as train overshoots red signal, collides with inspection car

At least 8 people from the railway staff were injured after an EMU local train dashed against a stationary inspection car near Srirampur railway station in Kolkata Saturday. The incident was reported while the train, which was moving from Howrah towards Srirampur station, overshot the red signal and collided sideways while crossing the stationary inspection car at a crossover of tracks.
