All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy! This seems like an apt proverb for our Bollywood celebrities who end up spending long hours on shoots, and so some of them prank around with their co-stars or the crew to lighten the atmosphere. Today, on April Fools’ Day, lets’ take a look at the fun side of our Bollywood celebs.
Coffee with Aamir
Aamir Khan
During the shoot of Dangal, while Fatima Sana Sheikh was playing some board game, Aamir came with a cup of coffee and sat behind her, claiming that the coffee was hot. He then pretended to spill it on her and Fatima screamed thinking he had burnt her head, however, the mug was actually empty.
A few practical jokes
Ajay Devgn
This angry young man actually made the cast and crew of Golmaal Returns believe that they were shooting in a haunted place. Ajay Devgn even went to the extent of making a spot boy roam around in a white gown to scare people around.
Father of all pranksters
Akshay Kumar
Out of the many pranks that Akshay has played on his co-stars, here’s one incident when Huma Qureshi became the target. While on the sets of a film, he stole Huma’s phone and sent marriage proposals to many Bollywood actors. Huma had said she was mortified and had to text those people again to explain her situation.
Fooling around
Shahid Kapoor
Shahid Kapoor, looks like a serious man but is known to be a prankster on sets! On the sets of his movie Kismat Konnection, the actor would move around with a small bag, which when pressed would make a farting sound.
Just for laughs
Vidya Balan
One more incident that we recall is from the sets of the film Dirty Picture. Vidya Balan pretended to be unwell and asked a female assistant director to act out a bedroom scene with her co-actor Emraan Hashmi. The AD was nervous at the prospect and Vidya kept pulling her leg afterwards as well when they all laughed it out.
Prank gone too far
Anurag Basu
During the shoot of a reality show, Anurag Basu supposedly got hold of Shilpa’s phone and texted her mother, Sunanda Shetty, that the actress is getting divorced. Her mother was shocked by the message and called Shilpa. The actress was later informed that it was just a prank.
