As an artiste, we all look for work that challenges us and this role came to me at the right time, so I said an immediate yes. This role comes with a lot of homework, which I am really ecstatic about.
Any special preparations to get into the skin of the character?
Playing such a powerful personality is quite a challenge. To be able to do justice to the dialogues, I spent many hours practising them, till I got the perfect sur. For getting the perfect look also, I am working really hard.

From dhoti to heavy jewellery to a ‘mukut, which weighs 12 kilos, everything brings out the authenticity and royalty of the character.
Raavan was a great devotee of Lord Shiva.

I am an ardent Shiv bhakt. I am really glad and feel blessed that I got to play the role of a Shiv’s real bhakt. I will tell the stories of 19 avatars of Lord Shiva to Ganesh.

Parvati in the show. Is it true?
I am really excited that I will be sharing screen space with my real-life beau Akansha Puri. Yes, she is playing Parvati in this show.
What kind of roles you want to do in future?
I want to do all type of roles.
Besides acting and modelling, what else keeps you busy?
I love photography.
