Amid reports of alleged movements of EVMs from strongrooms, Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) chief Upendra Kushwaha on Tuesday alleged that the conspiracy was being hatched for the “result loot” after the “vote loot”.

Talking to mediapersons with Mahagathbandhan leaders, Kushwaha said: “It was reported from several quarters that vehicles loaded with EVMs were found roaming. An attempt is being made for the ‘result loot’. I would like to appeal to Mahagathbandhan workers to guard strongrooms.” He said the onus lies on the state and Union governments to take preliminary actions to curb such incidents.

Rejecting unfavourable results for Mahagathbandhan, the former Union Minister said the exit poll was an attempt to divert people’s attention, but the booth level reports have already assured the alliance victory in most of the constituencies”.

State chief of Hindustan Awami Morcha (Secular) VL Vaishantri said: “Mahagathbandhan leaders are confident of winning at least 25 Lok Sabha seats”.
