Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani-starrer Laxmmi Bomb, the Hindi remake of hit Tamil movie Kanchana, revolves around a cowardly man who gets possessed by the ghost of a transgender woman. The ghost then takes revenge against the ones who destroyed her life. Kiara and Akshay began the shoot for the film last month and now the first look of the film is out. Sharing his look and the release date of Laxmmi Bomb, Akshay took to Twitter and wrote, “Bringing you one bomb of a story, #LaxmmiBomb starring @Advani_Kiara & yours truly! Bursting in cinemas on 5th June,2020. Fox Star Studios Presents A Cape of Good Films Production in association with Shabinaa Entertainment & Tusshar Entertainment House Directed by Raghava Lawrence.”
The movie is being helmed by actor Raghava Lawrence, who essayed the lead role in original version. Also, if reports turn to be true, then, Amitabh Bachchan might join Kiara and Akshay in the film. When asked director Raghava was asked about Big B’s inclusion in the movie, he said, “I would like to cast Amitabh Bachchan sir for the particular role but things can be confirmed only after the formal discussion with Akshay sir and his team in Mumbai.”
