Actors Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra Jonas had a face-off at Met Gala 2019 on the pink carpet held at New York's Metropolitan Museum on Monday evening.
Deepika made waves at the pink carpet by taking on a Barbie avatar.
Deepika opted for a Zac Posen custom metallic pink gown.
Deepika, who gained global recognition with ‘XXX: Return of Xander Cage’ in 2017, stunned one and all when she stepped out in an all-pink strapless gown.
The two Indian actors interpreted this year's theme for the event, "Camp: Notes on Fashion" in their own way.
On the other hand, Priyanka, who is attending the Met Gala for the third time this year, arrived hand-in-hand with singer-husband Nick Jonas.
The couple were dressed in Dior. The 36-year-old was dressed in a grey-yellow-pink Dior gown, and her entire look appeared to be inspired by Lewis Carroll’s ‘Alice In Wonderland’. She wore a spiky silver gown with her hair in tight and frothy curls, just like the Red Queen. Her eyebrows were painted grey and her eyes were lined with white eyeliner.

Some called the look inspired by The Mad Hatter, while others compared it with that of the Red Queen thanks to the bushy curls on which sat a long spiky silver crown.
Nick, meanwhile, who was also wearing Dior, gave a hat-tip to his sister-in-law Sophie Turner as he turned up dressed as Peter 'Littlefinger' Baelish from "Game of Thrones". Turner's Sansa Stark played an important role in the death of Littlefinger (played by Aidan Gillen).
"Sansa... We must protect the Vale. #metgala #littlefinger," the 'Sucker' hitmaker captioned his picture on Instagram, dressed in an all-white suit with a stole wrapped over his left hand and a thin, fake moustache.
He also joked about his look on Twitter in a reference to the 2010 teen comedy 'Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam', in which he starred with fellow Jonas Brothers - Kevin and Joe and Demi Lovato.
This is Deepika's third outing at the event. She made her debut at the gala in 2017 in a simple white slip-dress by Tommy Hilfiger.
Also, Mukesh and Nita Ambani's daughter Isha Ambani turned many heads with her breathtaking look at the Met.
For the gala, Isha opted for a beautiful soft lilac creation by Prabal Gurung, the designer who styled actress Deepika Padukone's look for last year's Met Gala.Isha wore a haute couture gown with a plunging neckline, featuring feather all over the skirt and embellishments on torso of the gown, which also featured a gorgeous long train.
She completed her princess-like look with a diamond neck piece and drop earrings.
