‘The more you see, the less you know’

Sheetal

Zebby Singh has that drool-worthy Greek god looks and after the successful run of his show, Papa By Chance, he can surely be called a talented actor. He made his debut in Anurag Kashyap’s film, Manmarziyaan, where he played a protective cousin to Taapsee Pannu’s character. He can be seen in the ongoing track of Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara on Colors. Zebby wishes to work in Pollywood. This guy is a delight to watch and he is here to stay.

My swag

I think my swag lies in the fact that I keep it real. I am not the person who will pretend to be something or someone else. To put it in simple words, you will never see me preaching something that I don’t believe in and wearing something that I don’t like.

Must-have in my wardrobe

I am immune to cold weather and which is why you will find everything summery in my closet. Cotton t-shirts, denims, track pants, joggers and flip-flops or crocs.

Punjabi celebrities that I find stylish...

Gurdas Maan looks the best considering his age and gives tough competition to the youngsters in the Punjabi entertainment industry.

Latest addition to your life...

My pet, a French Bulldog. He is ‘my precious’ and I call him Rolex. The only family I got in Mumbai is Rolex.

Never leave home without...

Airbuds and perfume.

Career goals

Now that I have worked both in television and movie, I hope to see myself playing different roles on different mediums, be it web series, TV shows, short films or movies. I want to try my hand in everything under the sun. Last but not the least, being a Punjabi, I would definitely want to act in regional cinema.

Fit n fine

You are what you eat. I eat to live and, of course, I work out on the sidelines. Either you can eat delicious or you can look delicious.

My style

Style for me is something that boosts your morale. I feel good if my style is on point.

Following Punjabi culture

Now I live in Mumbai, but that doesn’t mean I have forgotten my roots. I am proud of my identity, first as an Indian and then Punjabi. I make sure that either my parents pay me a visit every two to three months or I fly back home to Chandigarh. Also, over here I visit 4-Bungalows Gurudwara whenever time permits to thank god for everything that I have achieved so far.

Traditional attire

Kurta pajama has a vakhri shaan. I never miss a chance to wear it with a suitable coloured turban.

Street smart vs the brand game

I do not get the chance to shop regularly due to my busy schedule of shooting. So, I always rely on branded clothes for quality and comfort in the long run.

Someone you idolise

Leonardo DiCaprio, for he doesn’t just perform but lives the characters he plays.

Describe yourself...

The more you see, the less you know.

Enjoy working

I loved the entire set-up and vibe of the show Papa by Chance. The character I played was entirely opposite to my real self. The only connection to the character of Yuvaan was Punjabi language. I had to bring in the attitude of a wealthy and carefree Delhi guy. I enjoyed the whole transformation and Ranvir’s movie Band Baaja Baaraat helped a great deal to prepare myself.

Unwind yourself

Rolex is the ultimate stress buster. Meditation is also a good way to unwind .
