Karan Johar was to make an ambitious film titled Shiddat, with his favourite students Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. While KJo never really came around to announcing the project, here’s another filmmaker who has lapped up the title. Dinesh Vijan, whose last production venture Luka Chuppi, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon turned out to be a sleeper hit at the box office, has announced his next project titled as Shiddat - Journey Beyond Love. The film will see Vicky Kaushal’s brother Sunny Kaushal, Radhika Madan, Diana Penty and Mohit Raina. While Radhika will be paired opposite Sunny, Mohit will be seen alongside Diana. The movie will be directed by Kunal Deshmukh of Jannat and Tum Mile fame and is scheduled to go on the floors in September this year. It will be shot across Punjab.
