Coimbatore: Three suspected ISIS supporters were detained here on Thursday for interrogation over alleged conspiracy to carry out attacks in the city. The police said they carried out searches at the houses of Mohamed Hussain, Shahjahan and Sheik Safiullah and seized “incriminating” documents and digital devices. They are also supporters of Zahran Hashim, mastermind of Sri Lanka Easter bombings. PTI

Mumbai: A teenager was killed after accidentally pressing the trigger of a country-made pistol, while shooting a clip for the social video app TikTok in Maharashtra's Ahmednagar district, police said on Thursday. AI Express Kochi-Mumbai flight suffers bird hit
Kochi: A Mumbai-bound Air India Express fight carrying 185 passengers on board was forced to return to the airport here on Thursday due to a bird hit, an airline official said. All the passengers escaped unhurt in the incident which took place around 1.45 pm and an alternative plane has been put in service to fly the stranded passengers to their destination, he said. PTI
