New Delhi: Congress legal cell head Vivek Tankha resigned from the party post, urging Rahul Gandhi to make drastic changes to the party for its revival. Tankha, a Rajya Sabha MP from Madhya Pradesh, also urged all Congress functionaries to resign from their respective posts and strengthen Gandhi’s hands in party’s overhaul. 

Pancholi booked for rape on woman actor’s complaint

Mumbai: The Mumbai Police on Thursday registered a case of rape against actor Aditya Pancholi following a complaint by a woman actor. The Versova police registered the case under IPC Section 376 (rape) and other relevant provisions after recording the woman’s statement. PTI
