New Delhi, June 13
Amid the ongoing crisis around Congress leadership, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath will tomorrow host the Chief Ministers of Congress-ruled states for dinner in the capital.
Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has received the invitation along with Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel and Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy.
The CMs may take the occasion to resolve that Congress president Rahul Gandhi should continue to lead the party. Gandhi is insistent on vacating his position ever since he told the Congress Working Committee on May 25 that he wanted a non-Gandhi to be the party chief.
