New Delhi, June 6
Starting tomorrow, Congress president Rahul Gandhi will be on a two-day visit to his parliamentary segment of Wayanad in Kerala and will thank the people of the area for electing him to the Lok Sabha.
Gandhi has not been meeting Congress leaders since May 25 when he offered to resign at a meeting of the Congress Working Committee taking responsibility for the party’s defeat. He had, however, last week finalised a visit to his constituency in Kerala.
Gandhi had also filed his nomination from his traditional seat of Amethi. He, however, lost Union Minister Smriti Irani there. — TNS
