The Maharashtra Government has ordered all theatres and multiplexes in the state to organise a free screening of ‘Uri - The Surgical Strike’ on July 26 as part of the Kargil Vijay Diwas celebrations.
A media release issued by the state government said Ex-Servicemen Welfare Minister Sambhaji Patil- Nilangekar and senior bureaucrats met with representatives of theatre owners and multiplexes in the state where they were told to hold the special screening for ex-servicemen and students of colleges. “A special screening of the movie will be held at 10 am on July 26 for ex-servicemen and students of colleges on production of their identity cards,” the media statement said. — TNS
