Dubai: The Indian rupee will now be accepted for transaction at all airports in Dubai. Indians form the highest number of international overnight visitors in Dubai. As per Gulf News, the rupee is now acceptable at Dubai International Airport and at Al Maktoum Airport. Of the nearly 90 million passengers who passed through Dubai airports last year, 12.2 million were Indians, the report said. PTI
Cheating case against Hrithik Roshan
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police have registered a case of cheating against actor Hrithik Roshan, brand ambassador of Cult.Fit, and three others on a complaint by a gym user. According to the complainant, he was charged by the gym but not allowed adequate time or facilities. Inspector K Laxmi Narayana said the complaint was registered following charges levelled by one Shashikanth. TNS
Woman who abused Air India crew found dead
London: A 50-year-old Irish human rights lawyer who hurled expletive-ridden racist taunts at Air India cabin crew after being refused alcohol on a Mumbai-London flight last year has apparently killed herself in England, media reports said. Simone Burns was sentenced to six months in jail in April for her abusive tirade and spitting at the flight attendants during the flight on November 11. She was released on May 20. IANS
