Manjot Singh Reen, a student of Sharda University in Greater Noida, who saved the life of a girl who was about to commit suicide, has been honoured by the Sikh Community in the national capital.
Manjit Singh GK, former president of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has assured to bear all the expenses for Manjot’s preparation for civil examination.
Manjot took the risk of saving the girl jumping from the edge of the parapet. He showed great courage by not caring about his own life. Manjot said he saw that girl was about to commit suicide, and tried to convince her against it.
Manjot who hails from Jammu is studying in B.Tech. His father is a government officer in Jammu and mother is the principal of a school run by herself.
