Gifts to Prime Minister up for grabs

2,772 gifts given to the Prime Minister will be up for auction on a portal designed by National Informatics Centre from September 14

1,800 gifts were auctioned in a fortnight-long exercise in January when a wooden BMW replica fetched Rs 5 lakh

576 shawls, 964 clothes, 88 headdress, besides jackets, portraits and swords, are among mementoes up for grabs this time

Rs 200 to Rs 2.5 lakh will be the reserved price of the items, proceeds of which will go towards Clean Ganga initiative
