Ahead of Tuesday’s hearing of bail plea of P Chidambaram, the CBI on Monday moved the SC against the former minister in the INX Media case.
The probe agency has contested the Delhi High Court’s finding that Chidambaram was not a flight risk. The high court had rejected his bail plea on the ground that he might influence witnesses. Meanwhile, a Delhi court reserved its orders on the Enforcement Directorate’s plea seeking to arrest and interrogate him in the INX case. — TNS
