Gaza rocket forces Israeli PM Netanyahu off stage at election rally

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was taken off the stage at an election rally after a rocket was fired from the Gaza Strip towards Israeli city of Ashkelon. A military spokesperson said in a statement that the rocket triggered warning sirens in the city of Ashkelon on Wednesday and the area before Israel's Iron Dome anti-rocket system intercepted it, Xinhua reported.
