Israelis voted on Monday in an unprecedented third parliamentary election in less than a year to break the deadlock on government formation, with the country's longest-serving Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fighting for his political survival amid indictments on graft charges. The voter turnout at 8 pm was 65.5 percent, a 1.8 percent increase from the September elections and the highest turnout rate at this hour since the 1999 elections, the Jerusalem Post reported.
