Two baby girls lose their fathers in Meghalaya violence

Two baby girls, one of them just four-month-old, have lost their fathers in the violence between tribal and non-tribal groups over implementation of Inner Line Permit (ILP) in Meghalaya. The four-month-old's father, Uphas Uddin, was killed in the early hours of Sunday by three unidentified assailants who broke into his home at Pyrkan village in Meghalaya's East Khasi Hills district and stabbed him.
