West Delhi violence: Police register over 10 cases for rumour mongering

More than 100 cases were registered by the Delhi Police on Monday in connection with southeast Delhi violence. According to the police, the cases have been registered in connection with rumour-mongering in Delhi, under relevant Sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), and 163 cases under Section 65 of the Delhi Police Act. Three cases have also been registered under Section 107/151 of CrPc.
