‘Content is king’

How do you select your shows?

For me, the content is king and also the banner.

What made you take up this role?

This is a really different role for me, as previously I have done roles according to typical daily soaps. However, this is a very natural and a relatable role.

Who is your favourite co-star on set?

I share my room with Paras, so the chemistry between us is amazing, on-screen as well as off-screen. There are a total of 25 characters in our show and I have bonded really well with everyone.

What kind of a brother are you in real life?

I am a supportive brother in real life as well. I have a younger brother too and it all just feels so relatable with my real life.

Among your shows, which has been your favourite?

My favourite shows are Uttaran and Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi.

In comedy, is the writer more important or actor?

It is very important to write a line that is funny, no matter how you deliver it later.

How do you manage to exercise when shooting outdoors?

I just do free-hand exercises like push-ups.

What do you like doing, when free?

I like singing and dancing.

You are in Mumbai now, which food do you like the most?

In Mumbai people prefer Vada Paav and Paav Bhaaji, but I love to eat North-Indian food.
