Amaravati: It's going to be an interesting fight between a veteran tribal leader and his daughter in Araku Lok Sabha constituency in Andhra Pradesh. Six-time MP and former Union minister VKC Suryanarayana Deo is contesting as a Telugu Desam Party candidate, while his daughter, New Delhi-based lawyer and social activist V Shruti Devi, has been fielded by the Congress. Lucknow: The Barabanki police have registered a case against BJP leader Ram Babu Dwivedi for burning the photographs of former CMs Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati during Holika Dahan on March 19 in Barabanki. Hyderabad: Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, the Congress candidate from Telangana's Chevella constituency, has declared family assets worth Rs 895 crore, making him the richest politician in both the Telugu states. Andhra CM N Chandrababu Naidu declared family assets worth Rs 574 crore, while YSR Congress Party chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy and his wife own assets over Rs 500 crore. IANS
