Tahira’s yet another empowering post

Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife Tahira Kashyap became an inspiration for many people as she fought cancer with a smile on her face. Last September, she was detected with DCIS in her breast with high-grade malignant cells. She posted photographs where she shaved her head and showed off her surgery scars and named them as “badges of honor” on World Cancer Day. Recently, Tahira once again shared a strong message by uploading a series of photos showing how chemotherapy affected her hair. “The last couple of months have been an extreme case of metamorphosis. And I am not categorising it...I could be the larva or the pupa...But there is a deep sense of acceptance when it comes to the life cycle of this creature.”
