Australia’s Queensland government has rejected a plan of Adani to protect the endangered black-throated finch bird population, saying the proposals do not meet the approval conditions for the proposed billion dollar mine project. It will further delay the Carmichael coal mine project of Adani Australia indefinitely, media reports said today. — PTI
