Manhar Bansal of Muktsar and Juhi Rupesh Kajaria of Mumbai jointly topped the ICSE Class X examination by securing 99.6 per cent marks.
Ten students shared the second rank with 99.4 per cent marks, while the third rank was shared by 24 students with 99.2 per cent marks.
The results of ICSE Class X and ISC Class XII were declared today by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations chief executive Gerry Arathoon.
Kolkata’s Dewang Kumar Agarwal and Bengaluru’s Vibha Swaminathan topped the Class XII examination with 100 per cent marks — a first for the board. The second rank has been shared by 16 students with 99.75 per cent marks and the third rank by 36 students with 99.5 per cent.
Girls outshone boys in both Class X and XII exams. Girls achieved a pass percentage of 99.05 in Class X against 98.12 for boys. The pass percentage for girls in Class XII was 97.84 against 95.4 for boys. — PTI
