VADODARA: A crocodile entered the kitchen of a house at Raval village in Gujarat, leaving its occupants in a state of shock. Radhaben Gohil's 19-year-old daughter Nimisha sighted the 4.5-foot-long reptile trying to drink water from a pot early on Wednesday. Forest personnel and members of an NGO caught the reptile and released in Ajva lake, located 2 km from the village. The Narmada canal passes from the outskirts of the village. PTI
Farmer killed over picking of tomatoes
JABALPUR: A farmer was killed after he caught a fellow farmer picking tomatoes from a farm in Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh, police said on Wednesday. Chakresh Patel (30) allegedly attacked Rajendra Kachhi (45) with an axe after the latter objected to Patel plucking tomatoes from his farm without permission at Mehgawan village. 2 Indian businessmen get 10-yr visa in UAE
DUBAI: Two Indian businessmen have become the first in the community here to be issued a 10-year-visa of the United Arab Emirates under the Gulf nation's long-term residency scheme to woo investors and talented students, according to a media report. Vasu Shroff, chairman of the Regal Group of Companies, and Khushi Khatwani, managing director of the Khushi Group of Companies and Al Nisr Cinema Film, received their visas stamped on their passports on Tuesday.
