Burgers are termed as junk food by most people but then the popularity quotient remains high so we have to find means to complete the nutritional need with adding suitable veggies. It’s quite a favourite with children and adults alike.
Movettes
Ingredients
- 6 burger buns
- 6 tbsp cheese (grated)
- 1 cup refried beans
- 1tsp butter
- For topping
- ½ cup cabbage
- 1 carrot (grated)
- 1 onion (thinly sliced)
Method
- Cut off a thin layer of the buns. Scope out a little portion from the top of the buns and make them hollow. Keep the top of the bun aside.
- Fill up the hollow portion with refried beans.
- Sprinkle grated cheese on it. Bake in a pre-heated oven for 5-10 minutes.
- Sprinkle cabbage, carrot and onions on the buns.
- Spread salsa sauce over it.
- Bake again in the oven for 10 minutes.
- Cover with the bun top and serve hot.
