Air travel to become a bit costlier from July 1
New Delhi: Air travel will become a bit costlier as the Ministry of Civil Aviation has decided to increase the aviation security fee (ASF) from Rs 130 to Rs 150 for each Indian passenger from July 1. For international passengers, the ASF will be increased from $3.25 to $4.85. The ASF will replace the PSF (SC), which stands for passenger service fee (security component). PTI
Auli set to host Rs 200-crore wedding later this month
Dehradun: Auli, the luxurious ski destination in the Garhwal hills of Uttarakhand, is all set to host the wedding of the sons of Gupta brothers, the controversial NRIs from South Africa, pegged to cost Rs 200 crore. Ajay Gupta’s son Suryakant gets married on June 18-20, and younger brother Atul Gupta’s son Shashank on June 20-22. Helicopters have been hired to ferry the guests, who will also be taken to the Badrinath shrine. IANS
