Japanese award for Shyam Saran
New Delhi: The Ambassador of Japan Kenji Hiramatsu on Tuesday felicitated and conferred the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star on former Foreign Secretary Shyam Saran. The Emperor of Japan had decorated Shyam Saran on May 21 in recognition of his contribution to strengthening strategic relations and enhancing mutual understanding between Japan and India. TNS
