Chennai: Two women in their early twenties — Rasika Gopalakrishnan and Shivangi Singh — have alleged they were thrown out of a Chennai hotel on July 28 on the grounds of their behaviour that the hotel claimed had offended the sensibilities of other guests. In her Facebook post, Rasika said the staff accused us of ‘doing something else’, warned us about ‘complaints’ from the guests and insisted that we leave immediately. So we left. London: A 23-year-old Indian-origin doctor has been crowned Miss England. Bhasha Mukherjee, 23, from Derby, holds two medical degrees, has an IQ of 146 and is fluent in five languages.
