Rajya Sabha panel to hold weekly meet

The Department Related Standing Committees of the Rajya Sabha hit the ground running with the Committee on Personnel, Public Grievances, Law and Justice today meeting to select subjects to be taken up for study over the next one year.

Committee Chairman Bhupender Yadav set a scorching pace suggesting the committee might meet every week to complete study of various pending and new subjects. He asked members to make it a part of their tour planning to attend committee’s meetings every Monday, officials privy to the discussions said.
