793 dead in Italy in one single day due to coronavirus, global COVID-19 fatalities cross 1,300 mark

Italy has recorded 793 new deaths and 6,557 new cases in one single day from coronavirus taking country's toll to 4,825. With such a huge figure, 38.3 per cent of the people who have died after getting infected with COVID-19 are from Italy. Globally, over 3,07,625 COVID-19 cases have been reported till date with 13,050 deaths.
